Reflections on a Great Semester

Two technologies that I learned this semester

Bootstrap is a great front-end library for building websites using "Sass variables and mixins, responsive grid system, extensive prebuilt components, and powerful plugins built on jQuery." I find that I can quickly develop and style pages and add interesting elements. My favorite part is how easy it is to make websites responsive.

I also used CSS Media Queries to make my pages even more responsive. I find that when mixing diffent elements in Bootstrap, sometimes the results are not always what I was specifically trying to acheive. Adding media queries made my site more responsive.

My web development journey

Last semester, I took COSW 20. At the end of the semester, I felt very insecure about my design abilities. This semester I was able to complete many more projects which gave me the opportunity to develop better design ablilites. I allowed myself to be inspired by my personal interests and I feel that I developed an interesting aesthetic. I am very appreciative of the experience I had this semester.
